A Saved Man that is World Controlled #1

Romans 8:9-11
“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

The moment that we are saved the Spirit of God takes up His abode in our body. We need to realize that the moment we get saved the Holy Spirit makes our bodies the temple of His abode.

I Corinthians 6:19-20
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”

Paul wants us to know that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost. Let me ask you - Do you really know that? Do you know that we are nothing more than a caretaker or a janitor of this body of ours? Our only job is to keep the temple clean and ready for use by the Holy Spirit.

The beautiful churches with their stained glass window and deep shag carpets are not the temples of God. Listen, a church is a building set aside in which to worship God. But God says that His temple is your body and my body. When God looks He sees each of us, who have been born again, as His House. So, let me ask you, How does God see our temple where He lives? In what condition are we keeping
that temple?

As we continue these inspirational thoughts we will see this more clearly and see that this is serious business.
