ABUNDANT LIFE THROUGH HOLY SPIRIT LIVING
“CULTIVATING THE ABUNDANT
LIFE –3"
John 10:7-10
“Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of
the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might
have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Recognize the importance of God’s Word.
The new believer will desire the Word of God. Listen, I do not believe that the man who makes a so
called profession and never has a desire to get into the Bible really got saved. I feel that the man who is
genuinely saved will have a desire to learn more about his new found life.
I Peter 2:2 - “As newborn
babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.”
To study the Word of God.
II Timothy 2:15
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman
that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
To practice the Word of God.
James 1:22
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving
your own selves.”
The Bible exhorts us to live holy lives.
I Peter 1:14-16
“As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves
according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so
be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
The Bible exhorts us to pray fervently.
Luke 18:1
“And he spake a parable unto them to this end,
that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”
The Bible exhorts us to witness faithfully.
Acts 1:8
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy
Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea,
and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
