GOD'S PLAN, ACCEPT IT. # 5

God follows a plan in doing His work both in heaven and on earth. He has a blueprint for each life.

II Timothy 1:9
"Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began."

Notice what God teaches. Not to every man some plan, but to every man God's plan.

Rewards of following God's will.

Hebrew 11:24-26
"By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward."

Moses knew what he was turning down. He had offered to him the highest social and political position in Egypt. But Moses was looking forward to another reward. He knew that God had a blueprint for his life. That blueprint did not include being a king of Egypt. As some would count success, Moses was a failure. He led the people of Israel forty years, but never got into the promised land himself.
It would appear he fell short of the goal. But he was enjoying heaven when God sent the heavenly choir to the Judean hills to sing of peace on earth, good will toward men. Moses was looking over the portals of glory when the babe was born in Bethlehem. When God sent two back to talk to the Lord on the mount of Transfiguration, he sent Moses and Elijah. Say, he had, as did Abraham, his eyes on a city
whose maker and founder was God.
