GOD'S PLAN, ACCEPT IT. # 4

God follows a plan in doing His work both in heaven and on earth. He has a blueprint for each life.

II Timothy 1:9
"Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began."

Notice what God teaches. Not to every man some plan, but to every man God's plan.

The price for rejecting God's will. Think of Jezebel. A woman who had every chance to become a great power and influence for God. She
was the wife of a king. She had Elijah for a preacher. But because she decided that no plan of God would fit her life (that's right, she refused God's will), she went to the depths of rebellion. Even to the point to be overtaken by the judgment of God.

Jezebel fixed her hair, made up her face, and looked out the window to see the warrior Jehu coming. Jehu rode up and called out, "If there are any up there on my side, throw her out". The cries and screams of the queen as she was thrown from the window echoed in the streets. Her body hit the street, and the horses trampled her to death.

The man or woman who rejects God's plan for his life will pay for it.

Deuteronomy 8:18,19
“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God , and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.”

John 15:5
“.... for without me ye can do nothing .”
